Softcover. 12mo. Very good condition. 226 pages. Green stiff wraps with a dustcover.The unclipped dustcover shows light soiling and edgewear. Spine ends quite worn and chipped. Just a touch of foxing to the inside covers and page edges. Top corner of the book has been bumped and all pages are lightly bumped in this area. The barely noticeable remains of red underlining which has been carefully erased to a number of interior pages. Otherwise a very good copy of the true first edition of William Burrough's most famous novels.

The Naked Lunch is one of the most important and at the same time one of the most controversial novels to have appeared since World War II. It is considered by many distinguished literary figures as the major American novel of our time.
