Unclipped dustcover in fine condition with very light minor soiling to the edges and a couple of light foxing spots and edge soiling to the inside flaps. Spine lightly sunned. A rarely seen 'The Book Society' wraparound band is present which shows light soiling and and a crease to the top edge of the back panel. Light foxing spots to the pastedowns, endpapers and to the side edge of pages. Top edge of pages coloured brown. The interior of the book is otherwise fine and bright. Jacket design by John Woodcock. A near fine copy.
