Hardcover. 8vo. Very good condition. 312 pages. Later issue grey cloth over boards with a device in black to the front panel and the title in red to the front panel and to the spine. (Original first issue has red cloth over boards). Text in English. Unclipped dustcover in very good condition with light soiling to the back panel, light edgewear and creasing (particularly to the corners and to the head and tail of the spine), a 2.5 cm closed tear to the top edge of the front panel which has been reinforced with tape to the underside and a 1 cm tear to the bottom edge of the back panel. Spine of dustcover rubbed and sunned. Otherwise a very clean dustcover. The boards are clean and bright with a mild bump to the top corners. Endpapers and pastedowns show light discolouration. Binding is split between the front endpaper and the half title page and is thus quite fragile. Light scattered foxing to the first and last 5 or so leaves and to the page edges. The interior of the book is otherwise fine and bright. A very good copy.
