Text in English. Illustrated by wood engravings from the originals of: C.W. Cope; Thomas Creswick; J.C. Horsley; R. Redgrave; Frederick Tayler. With a somewhat faded and dull fore-edge painting depicting Cheyne Walk, Chelsea., UK to side edge of pages. Very light edgewear to the covers mainly to the spine edges. Some minor rubbing to the gilt decorations on the front and back panels. Rubbing, foxing and soiling to the pastedowns, endpapers and the first and last few pages of the book. Light creases, soiling and foxing to a few interior pages. Else a near fine copy.
