Hardcover. 12mo. Very good condition. Brown half leather over marbled boards with marbled pastedowns and endpapers. 5 raised bands to the spine with the titles in gilt. 5 full page steel engravings. Vol 1 - 372 pages, Vol 1 - 488 pages. Edgewear and rubbing to the covers. Marbled paper on the front cover of volume 2 lifting slightly. Remains of a bookplate to the front pastedowns. Previous owners stamp to the front and back free endpapers. Front free endpaper of volume 2 missing. Light soiling to page edges. Else a very good set.
