Hardcover. 8vo. Near fine condition. 198 pages. Black cloth over boards with the title to a paper label affixed to the head of the spine. Text in English by Lincoln Kirstein. Numerous b&w plates. The very scarce and fragile dustcover is in very good condition with light very light wear to the spine ends, light discolouration to the spine, a 1cm closed tear to the top edge of the front panel, small chips to the corners and a small chip to the top left corner of the front panel. Bottom quarter of the front flap has been torn away. Otherwise a very good dustcover. The book itself is in fine condition with just a hint of minor foxing to the pastedowns, endpapers and the first and last few pages of the book. Erased pencil inscription to the front endpaper. Light soiling to page edges. A near fine copy of an exceedingly difficult title to find in a clean dustcover.
