Hardcover. 8vo. Very good condition. 140 pages. Blue cloth over boards with the title in silver gilt to the spine. Text in English. All first edition points present including the 'A' and the Scribners seal to the copyright page. Light wear and chipping to the edges of the dustcover particularly to the spine edges, spine age darkened, spine ends and corners chipped and scuffed and a circular loss towards the tail of the right side edge of the spine. Cloth spine of book quite stained and foxed and the bottom edge of boards and the tail of the spine are scuffed and frayed. Light foxing and discolouration to the pastedowns and endpapers mainly to the joint area. Light foxing and soiling to the page edges. Previous owners inscription to the front endpaper. Otherwise all interior pages are bright and clean. A very good copy only.
